The Stock Exchange of Thailand's main index was down 6.61 points or 0.42% to close at 1,582.52 points today. Total trading value was 48.20 billion baht with 9.81 billion shares changing hands. The SET50 index ended at 991.30 points, down 5.10 points or 0.51%, in trade worth 23.41 billion baht. The MAI index went down 3.99 points or 0.62% to close at 636.10 points with total transaction value of 1.88 billion baht. Local institutions, brokers and retail investors were net sellers of 117 million baht, 228 million baht and 193 million baht respectively.
